Your privacy
Southbeach is committed to protecting your privacy.
To make your shopping experience more convenient, we gather information from you. We maintain the privacy of your information using security technologies and adhere to policies that prevent unauthorized use of your personal information.
What information does Southbeach collect and how is it used?
We collect information you explicitly provide us during your web site visit, software registration, purchase and email interactions in order to provide you with products, advice, support and information.
In order to fulfill your order, we need to know your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. In order to activate or validate the software license for a particular computer, we need to collect information about the computer hardware and operating system. We use industry standard software copy protection and license activation.
In addition to the information we collect directly from you, we also monitor and track usage of our web site, viewing and traffic patterns, customer behavior, and other similar information. All interactions are anonymized. We compile this information into a statistical aggregate. We use this anonymized aggregate information to improve our web site, our product and service offerings, our operations, and our customer service.
Does Southbeach disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
No. Southbeach does not provide information about you to any other companies to market their products and services.
Southbeach does not provide your credit card information to any third party, except as is necessary to process your order. We use industry standard services, Paypal and Google Checkout, to process your order.
In some situations, however, we are required to or we may provide all the information we gather about you to third parties without your consent, as permitted by law, such as:
- To respond to judicial process, regulatory authorities or law enforcement agencies;
- In connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, or transfer of all or a portion of a business;
- To protect against fraud, money laundering and other risks.
We may provide aggregate information about site usage and traffic patterns, stripped of any individual identification, to third parties to comply with various reporting obligations and for business development or marketing purposes.
How does Southbeach protect customer information?
We use Paypal and Google Checkout. These services offer the use of a secure server that encrypts all your personal information before it is sent to us to prevent unauthorized access to your information.
We use industry standards for software protection and license activation.
